Thank you for joining us on this amazing cross cultural mission assignment. Here's some vital information to assist you in preparing for the mission ahead.

West Kalimantan, 120km North of Pontianak, Tikalong

Ministry to Dayak Tribal people group, animists.

3-8 December 2025
ABOUT THE PLACE
A mission base and retreat housing with single beds, basic accommodation. Expect hot and humid temperatures with cooler nights.
WHAT TO WEAR
Inbound - casual, comfortable clothes including a light jacket, hat, sunglasses. Smart casual shoes that you can wear in church services.
WHAT TO PACK
Most of us travel with carry on, 7kg
- light or ultralight sleeping bag
- sports light towel
- minimal toiletries (can also stop in Pontianak to get basics on arrival)
- flip flops / thongs
- skirts (ladies), yes ladies dress up with skirts and shirts / tops
- casual or dress pants for men for church service
- two shirts or polo shirts for guys
- PJs
- medicine (if prescribed, ensure your name is on prescription)
- phone roaming active, or activate e-sim
PRAYER - WHATSAPP
You will be added to a Whatsapp group for discussion and prayer. We will aim to come together to pray on Whatsapp.

2. Prepare to share your testimony and stories / songs or activities for kids
3. Raise a minimum of $500 for ministry
